Privacy policy

What we collect

• Order details — your name, phone number, email and delivery address, plus what you bought.
• Account details — if you create an account: your login email and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
• Trade-in submissions — the specifications, photographs and contact details you send when offering us a laptop.
• Usage data — pages viewed, searches run and items added to cart, used to understand what people are looking for and to improve the site.
• Advertising data — where you consent, our advertising partners set cookies to measure whether an ad led to a purchase.

Why we use it

• To take, confirm, fulfil and deliver your order — including phoning you to confirm cash-on-delivery orders.
• To handle warranty claims, returns and refunds, and to identify a specific unit by its serial number.
• To answer your messages on WhatsApp, email or the contact form.
• To send deal alerts, only if you asked for them. Every message includes a way to stop.
• To measure our advertising, so we know which posts actually lead to sales.

Who we share it with

Only where it's needed to run the business: our courier (to deliver your order), our payment providers (to take payment), our hosting and email providers, and our analytics and advertising partners where you have consented. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep your cart and session working and can't be turned off. Analytics and advertising cookies only run if you accept them, and you can change your mind at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Account data is kept while your account is open. Trade-in enquiries that don't lead to a purchase are deleted within 12 months.

Your choices

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that's wrong.
• Ask us to delete your account and associated data, where we're not required to keep it.
• Unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time, without affecting your orders.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, access to customer data is limited to staff who need it, and administrative actions are logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously — and we will never ask for your full card details or your password over WhatsApp or by phone.
